Even though I James Doyle am not a skate-border dosen't make me loose any respect for a very inspiring roll model to me and many other kids around the globe. Some of you may consider Rob Dyrdek as a crazy daredevil of others may not even know him. But trust me. He is one of the nicest most giving person you will ever look up to. He is a true renaissance man.

Rob Dyrdek - Growing Up
Skateboarding came naturally to Rob. As a 12-year old, he instantly felt comfortable on the board. That same year, Rob became the youngest member on the ultra-popular G&S Skateboarding team. He turned pro when he was 16 and joined the Alian Workshop Team. His amazing boarding skills and tricks earned him a spot as a DC Shoes endorser as a 21-year old. Rob's skateboarding DVD's also became a huge hit within the skateboarding community.
Rob Dyrdek - Giving Back
As a kid, Rob always had trouble finding places to skateboard without getting kicked out or ticketed. So when Rob was able to get money as a pro skateboarder, he started building skateparks for kids looking for a place to practice. The first park he opened was in his hometown of Kettering and he built an indoor skate park called the TF (training facility) in San Diego, California. His skateparks have provided legal skateboarding for more than 10 million street skaters through his Rob Dyrdek/DC Shoes Skate Plaza Foundation.

One of the biggest breaks of Rob's career came in 2006 when he got his own reality show Rob and Big. The show stars Rob and his best friend and bodyguard Christopher "Big Black" Boykin. Big Black lives up to his nickname with his 6'6", 400 lbs frame. The comedic show about this odd couple has become a big hit and has been picked up for a second season. In early 2007, Rob began shooting his own movie that he stars in and produced.
